Piloo
Bhattacharjee is a multi talented personality . The 39 year
old is a music director , an actor and also a gifted singer
of folk and modern Bengali songs.
Piloo whose initial music lessons were from his mother Jyotsna
Bhattacharjee and sister, performing from the age of six.
He has worked with renowned personalities like Salil Chowdhury
, Abhijit Banerjee , Piyush Kanti Sarkar , Illya Raja , Kamal
Hassan .
A commerce graduate from Jaipuria College , Piloo later cut
his teeth in music under Arun Mukherjee . Later he was guided
by Ila Roy and Prasanto Sengupta.
He also has a 105 members of choir troupe name "
Surela" for which he has big
plans.
Piloo has four albums to his credits "
Sapno Chor "
(1998) , Sabuj Dao (2000), Radhamadhab (2008) and
a collection of folk tunes with Amar Paul titled
