Pt. D. P. Sharma was an Ayurvedic Vaidya, who produced "Himtaj Oil" was one of the best Ayurvedic products in India. He started his company in the name of Pt. D. P. Sharma in a small scale. He produced number of Ayurvedic products. Afterwards with the continuous satisfactory of the products, consumer acceptance was greater and demand increased followed by company's growth has taken place and forced to produce more.

Even at the year 1990 Himtaj Oil was the brand leader in the category industry. Simultaneously the other products growth also taken place.

At this moment company has planning to launch further new products based on Ayurvedic Concepts in the years to come.
