Multitex Engineering Industries formed in the year 1980 and within this span of about two decades, we have had the opportunity of executing various jobs in the field of Water treatment and waste water treatment, throught out the country and abroad.

Multitex Engineering Industries was formed by a group of qualified and highly experienced Engineers, who before forming this unit, have had the opportunity of working in various Organisations having International repute.

The Key-man of this Organisation, Sri S. K. Chakraborty, is a Chemical Engineer & was the Chief Design Engineer of M/S. Bird & Co. (P) Ltd., Calcutta, in Water Treatment Division. Apart from Designing and execution of various types of Water treatment plants, he has had the opportunity of designing and execution of following giant capacities of Water Demineralisation Plants:-

Plant consists of 2 Nos. clariflocculators, twentyeight nos. gravity filters, eighteen nos. softening units and four (4) stream D.M. plant each of 75 m3/hr.

FROM MULTITEX ENGINEERING INDUSTRIES

M/S. Multitex Engineering Industries have had the opportunity of executing various jobs in the filed of Water Treatment Plants and Effluent Treatment Plants.

We have also undertaken the Design, Engineering and Supervision of erection and commissioning of following jobs:-

  1. 1.0 MGD capacity Water Treatment Plant for M/S. Rourkela Steel Plant, Barsua Munes on behalf of M/S/ Vinny Engg. Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Calcutta-16 where-in M/S. M. N. Dastur & Co. Ltd., were the project consultant. Plant was consisting of setting tank, flash mixer, chemical dosing system, clariflocculator unit, rapid gravity sand filters and treated water reservoir.

  2. 4.0 MGD capacity Water Treatment Plant for MIS. Indian Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., Kulti works on behalf of MIS. P. K. Thakur & Co. Pvt. Ltd., Bumpur. Plant was consisting of Intake well, flash mixer, chemical dosing system and clariflocculator unit.

  3. 4.0 MGD capacity Water Treatment Plant and Recirulation Plant for M/S. Indian Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., Bumpur for Merchant and Rod Mill, on behalf of MIS. P. K. Thakur & Co. Pvt. Ltd., Bumpur. Plant was consisting of oil skimming tank, chemical dosing system, flash mixer, clariflocculator of Central drive system, hot well, cooling tower, cold well, cold well recirculation pump set and sludge drying beds.

  4. 65 m3/hr, capacity Demineralisation plant for M/S. B.C.C.L, Katras Colliery, Dhanbad, Bitra, on behalf of MIS. A. K. Dass & Co., Belillious road, Howrah. Plant was consisting of Pressure filter, Activated carbon filter, Cation exchanger unit, Degassification unit, Anion exchanger !Unit and regenerant handling equipments.

  5. 60 KLD capacity portable type package effluent treatment plant of MIS. Oil India Ltd., Duliajan for their drilling site on behalf of M/S. Victor Engineering Co., Makum In., Assam. Plant was consisting of oil skimming tank, Chemical dosing system, Dissolved air floatation unit, Dual media filter and Activated carbon filter. (Two sets of Plants).

  6. 250 m3/hr capacity waste water neutralisation system of demimeralisation plant of W.B.S.E.B., Bandel Themal Power Station on behalt of M/S. Dinbandhu Biswas & co. Pvt. Ltd., Tribeni. Plant was consisting of Neutralisation pit, Recirrculation cum disposal pumpsets, Priming tank, Lime dosing tank, Air blower and pH meter.

  7. Overall survey of water supply and treatment system of Factory of P. T. Ispat Indo., Surabaya, Indonesia and recommendation and implementation of various units/measures for improvennent of water quality for cooling Water System, continuous casting machine, cooling of coils etc. Total water in circulation was 3000 m3lhr.

  8. Overall survey of water supply and treatment system of Factory of P. T. Jakarta Cakratunggal Steel Mills, Jakarta, Indonesia and recommendation and implementation of various units/measures for improvement of water quality for cooling Water System, continuous casting machine, rolliing mill cooling of coils etc. Total water in circulation was 3000 m3/hr.

    M/S. Multitex Engineering Industries, are also associated with following reputed Organisation in the field of Water treatment and Effluent treatment plants :

 

MIS. Andrew Yule & Co. Ltd., Calcutta700 020. Executed a small water filtration plant for SAIL, Rourkela.
  Submitted 2 x 75 m3/hr D.M. Plant tender for HPCL, Vizag wherein MIS. ElL, Madras, are the Project Consultant.
  Chlorination system of Sewage treatment plant for NTPC, Talcher.
MIS. Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Ltd., Calcutta.
Submitted various tenders for Water treatment plants for cooling towers as their associates. All tenders were submitted to various Refmeries & GAIL wherein M/S. ElL, New Delhi were: the Project consultant.
  Recently we have been awarded with the jcob of Detailed Design, Engineering, Supervision of job & commissioning of Water Treatment Plant by MIS. Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Ltd., for Cooling Tower contract which they have received from M/S. GAIL, USAF., under the Project Consultancy of M/S. ElL, New Delhi.
