Anaesthesia Equipment: Opsulate Model

 

The diagram below depicts a Boyle 'F' Anaesthetic Apparatus in a fully assembled condition with breathing circuit suitable for open or semi-closed circuit anaesthesia.

To avoid transit damage the apparatus is dismantled into five main parts as shown below and packed in a specially designed packing case.

  1. The Table Assembly complete with Metal Tubings, Regulators, Gauges and Castors. the Tubing Assembly to connect Emergency Oxygen is wrapped separately and tied to one of the railings of the Table.
  1. Drawer in which the following items are kept:-
    1. Two polythene Bags-one containing
      1. 1 Bagmount Assy.
      2. 1 Heidbrink Expiratory Valve with 1 Angle Mount and 1 Catheter Mount with Rubber Tubing.
      3. 1 Plug-in-Hose Adaptor.
      4. 1 Key Spanner (for Flush Type Valve B.S. 341)
      5. 1 Key Spanner (for Flush Type Valve U.S.)
      6. 1 Terry Spanner Set.
      7. 5 Pin & Screw Assy

The second bag contains

      1. 1 Rebreathing Bag 2 Ltrs.
      2. 2 Discs-Cylinder Indicator "FULL".
      3. 2 Discs-Cylinder Indicator "IN USE".
      4. 2 Discs-Cylinder Indicator "EMPTY".
      5. 5 Bodok Seals (Spares)
      6. 2 Cork Washers (Spares)

b. 1 Bottle for Ether wrapped in corrugated papper.

1 Bottle for Trilene wrapped in corrugated paper.

1 Face Piece Size-4

  1. 1 Corrugated Tubing (rolled in corrugated paper and tied to the frame of a Table assy).
  2. 2 Shelves (fixed at the bottom of the box near the legs of the Table).
  3. Head Unit comprising Flowmeter Unit, Ether Unit (without Bottle), Trilene Unit (without Bottle) and Trilene Interlock Unit.

 

These are factory assembled and tested and packed in a separated compartment in the packing case.
