VICTORIA JUTE MILLS established in the year 1885, is one of the oldest jute mill in West Bengal. It is situated at the west banks of River Ganges at Telinipara, Police Station and Railway Station is Bhadreshwar in the District of Hooghly in the State of West Bengal. The Jute Mill is accessible through Grant Trunk Road in about 1.5 KM and by water ways from other side of the river Ganges. This jute mill presently run by Messers RDB TEXTILES LTD. 

The mill has been fully modernized by replacing old spinning frames and it’s back process. Presently having production capacity of around 130 MT per day. It is being managed by adequately qualified and highly experienced technocrats with a team of skilled supervisory staff on the shop floor. A full fledged statistical quality control department is in existence for ensuring stringent quality standard and the quality improvement. The mill employs about 5000 and odd workmen. Many experiments by various experts were carried out in various intermittent process to effect quality consciousness and with an idea and concept of ecological awareness as jute fiber is bio-degradable and environmentally friendly. Raw Jute is being procured from various parts of India with high quality and grades.

To ensure perfect satisfaction of the ultimate users of our products and to achieve overall goodwill among our esteemed customers with our perfection in quality, synchronized with constantly changing world receptibility.  

Victoria Jute Mill is having a Quality Control Department, teamed by qualified personnel, equipped with modern machinery for testing the physical and chemical properties of Jute Yarn and Fabrics. The results are communicated to the Managers through computerized reporting system for corrective action, if any , to be taken by them. Further, being a member of The Indian Jute Industries Research Association, we take every advantage of its quality testing system. 

The Rules and guidelines as laid down by the Pollution Control Board are strictly maintained.

Supply of drinking water to the inhabitants outside the Mill Compound, providing dispensary services on emergency to outsiders, a take care of health, food, rest, recreation and other welfare measures for the workers, are a few points to mention worth towards our Human Resource Development.
