year was 1995. The communication industry and media scenario was undergoing a
gradual yet noticeable change from convention to modernisation. The growth in
terms of advertising spending in Television, in leaps and bounds, threatened the
Print media as a whole. A sudden spurt of financial, statutory and corporate
advertising was being observed. Outdoor as an Advertising medium was growing
gradually due to fierce brand infighting of foreign brands with indigenous
brands. A necessity to be at the top-mind-awareness level of prospective customs
was considered to be the key to marketing success.
As
could be expected spending in Advertising and Communication also grew. The time
was ideally suited to take up a new challenge and start a new venture in
communication services and contemporary medium.
Soumendu
Sur, an young enterprising Advertising Executive, who had by that time acquired
over 10 years of through experience in Advertising Agency business, decided to
take up the contemporary challenge and sowed the seeds of “AD-VENTURE” –
in Calcutta.
Over
the last five years, “AD-VENTURE” – an advertising and communication
consultancy firm has been able to consolidate its base from a humble beginning.
In
addition to conventional Advertising Agency Services, Adventure has broadened it
services areas to outdoor advertising and printing / production of advertising
aids, merchandising services, specially handling financial advertisements, event
management, public relations / publicity services, direct marketing, producing
visual aids and signs, supply of gift items, to name a few.
The
set up consist of Registered Office and outdoor workshop at Calcutta and branch
office in Mumbai. With the total staff strength of 27 heads in its various
offices, and over 150 contractors to handle outdoor jobs, today Ad-venture is
equipped to handle a wide range of communication services to its clientele at
the most cost efficient price.
