Mediscribe
is one of the leading and most resourceful organisation, in Eastern India with
world wide connection in the field of Medical Transcription. It has an
established network in USA and Canada to secure business in those countries and
to extend the resultant benefit in India.
OBJECTIVE
Mediscribe,
aims at imparting educational programs in medical transcription which would help
prepare the students for entry level employment as medical transcribers by
providing the basic knowledge, understanding and skills required to transcribe
healthcare dictation and prepare patients care documents with accuracy, clarity,
consistency and timeliness, applying the principles of professional and ethical
conduct.
COURSE
The
institution offers down-to-earth courses to the entire spectrum of medical
transcription. Initially, the following courses have been designed to be
launched:
a)
FOUNDATION COURSE: For aspiring medical transcription professionals the
above course is available in three option.

Full
Time Course: Duration 4 months / course which includes 180 hours of theory
classes and 180 hours of practical sessions – a total of 360 hours, and is
delivered over a period of four months for regular batches (4 hrs. a day, 5
days a week).

Part
Time Course: Duration 6 months / evening course principally targeted at
employed persons.

Correspondence
Course: A study at your own pace course with 300 hours of lab time to
practice medical transcription.
b)
EDITORS / PROOFREADERS COURSE: Advanced course for 2 months for trained
MTS. For medical transcription professionals looking at career advancement and /
or Doctors looking at becoming consultants to medical transcription companies.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The
institute offers an area of more than 700 sq. ft. in the central location of
Calcutta, in an archaize building overlooking the central business hub of the
city. The total floor space is dedicated for
transcription training with all state-of-the-art infrastructure that includes
high-end servers and transcription terminals. Complete range of legal software,
air conditioned class rooms and professional ambience keeping with international
standard for the trainees. Each trainee will be allotted a separate work
station and a professional kit.
FACULTY
The
institutes faculty is among the best in the industry, most of whom have
production background and as such are genuinely competent to impart training in a
‘Live Training Condition’.
