Various types of door locks are available in the market. But our products Swing Latched Door Lock has few special features for overcoming the flaws in the available locks/night latches.

Constructions with Special Features -
It is a precision 6 levers (flat type) combination lock. All the parts are made of stainless steel 410. The overall size of the locks is 142 mm. Long, x 55mm. Wide x 14mm. Thick. It is suitable for 25 mm. to 50mm. thick door.

This lock can be fitted at the left hand or right hand edge of door for inside or outside opening as may be required without much damaging the door. It's latch swings out to enter or swings in to release from the catch fitted at the door frame, by a gentle rotation of inner knob from inside the room.

To open the door, the latch can be swung out or in to the door catch by mere operation of the key from outside. The latch can also be kept in such a condition that it will not swing out of the door catch for opening the door by operating the key from out side. This way it serves the purpose of night latching.

Advantages -
This door lock is provided with swing type latch instead of spring loaded plunger. Normally, night latches with spring loaded plunger are available in the market and those have the main flaw of closing the door unknowingly due to the spring action of the plunger by keeping the key inside and the occupant outside. So there is no other alternative but to break open the door.

The Latch of our swing type door lock will not swing out of the lock body for entering inside the door catch without operating the inner knob. So there is no risk of closing the door by chance. Thinness of our lock has the advantage to be fitted at the thin edged door of (25mm). At the same time the door does not get much spoiled by fitting of this lock. Such advantages are not available with the door locks (night latches) available in the market.
