Automatic Tea Liquor Preparation Machine to be used by "Tea Taster" -

PREFACE
Tasting of tea liquor is one of the significant steps in ascertaining the grade and quality of tea leaves and no manufacturers, marketers or distributors of tea can avoid tasting of tea liquor, because, depending on the result of such tasting, blending of different grades of tea is done for acquiring quality and flavour. Presently, it is in practice in tea liquor tasting that tea liquor is prepared by normal kitchen method, where consistancy cannot be maintained due to the human error in weighing of tea leaves and or in providing of instant boiling water and or in maintaining appropriate volume of boiled water/volume of milk hence proper grading cannot be made.

In consideration to the above we have developed a machine for automatic preperation of tea liquor with predetermined quantity of tea, water and milk, and also for maintaining the appropriate brewing time, so that unlike the traditional 'kitchen method' the desired consistency can be maintained and as a result, appropriate tea liquor can be prepared without undergoing any manual operations.

THE MACHINE
This sophisticated electronic controlled rotary machine is specially designed for continuous automatic tea liquor preparation for tasting purpose. A tea taster will receive completely ready cups of liquor (with milk or without milk) including infused and sample tea leaves seperately at the same zone in every 12 to 15 seconds interval.

This machine comprising a circular rotary table is adapted to carry a plurality of equi-angularly disposed cups adjacent its peripherial edge, and being relatively mounted on its central axis for being rotated by a drive source, as an when desired, so as to traverse angularly spaced stationary zones for -

(a) Weighing of tea leaf and feeding of predetermined quantity of tea in the respective cups;
(b) Pouring of desired quantity of instant hot water in the respective cups;
(c) Brewing of tea in set timing;
(d) Straining automatically after brewing.
(e) Pouring of desired quantity of milk in the respective cups;
(f) Inspection-cum-tasting of liquor prepared;
(g) Washing-cum-drying of cups, during the rotation of the said rotary table.
The said rotary table is rotatively mounted on a vertically upstanding spindle at the central axis of the table and the said spindle is supported on a sturdy and vibration free base. The said rotary table is adapted to be rotated intermittently by a independent motor with gear box and/or air cylinder with compressor.
