objectives of the trust include 1) to render medical service and assistance to the poor and the needy 2) to work towards advancement of learni 3) to provide expertise and technical knowledge to groups or organizations working with the same objective. |
Presently
the primary focus of CROP is to associate itself to the country
wide fight against cancer. Presently it has three main activities
:- 1) At the community level , to help organize cancer awareness programs and clinics. 2) At the individual level, to help to obtain subsidized treatment including operations at a cheaper cost, and to try to procure financial assistance to poor and needy cancer patients 3) At the professional level, to organize, seminars, educational programs etc in order to update and instill best therapeutic practices in cancer treatment in West Bengal and to run programs to arrange expert but ‘cost only’ treatment to the needy patients. |
