ELECTRO-MECHANICAL LINEAR ACTUATOR -
	Salient Features: Excellent non-locky features : It is observed that when the torque switches fail due to various reasons the equipments are jammed and require dismantling/handcranking. In PREPEC Actuators all these problems are overcome by its superior design. It can be instantly released by switching from control centre. Range of speed : The actuators are available from 4 r.p.m. to 175 r.p.m., but on special request the output speed are available from 0.18 r.p.m. to 300 r.p.m. Mountings: Flange or foot-mountings with output shaft as per DIN3210 are designed. Manual Operation : For easy and effortless operation, declutchable hand wheel is mounted at the side or top with suitable ratio. As soon as the power is ON the clutch will be engaged automatically. The manual operation is regardless of power. Enclosure: All the Actuators are dust and hose-proof as per 1P-55 of IS-4691 in special case IP-67 protection are also available. Hammer blow mechanism: Specially designed hammer blow mechanism acts to release sitting pressure instantly. Gear driven cam lor position adjustment: Position limit switches are fixed in its own position, but adjustment of position is controlled by changing the position of cam driven by gears. Duty Cycles: For frequent ON-OFF and for special application the duty cycles available as per designed by the client specified. Torque Switches : Torque switches for both directions of rotation are very sensitive. Position Switches : Position Switches for different application are available through compact geared unit with 2 or more position. Local push buttons : For special requirement local push buttons are available on the equipment. Space Heaters : Space heaters can be provided inside the switch compartment and also in the motor, if desired. Corrosion resistance : All the parts exposed to the air are properly coated/plated to resist corrosion. Thermistor Control: Embeded thermister may be provided inside the motor, if desired. Phase discriminator: All the limit switches are dependent on direction of rotation. For correct direction of rotation, phase discriminators can be incorporated. Terminals: All the wires are wired up to a terminal box for easy terminal connection. Brakes: Brakes can be provided externally or electronic type. Closed/Open loop circuit: All the actuator can be used for multi-turn, part turn valves by using proper socket for open and closed loop circuit with feed back of 4 MA to 20 MA for PLC. Flange : The actuators are suitable for using different flanges starting from F07 to F40 of IS-9334. Response time : The response time of actuators are expressed in seconds for full travel and are available in a variety of speeds from 2 to 240 seconds for full travel. Humidity : The permissible relative humidity of starndard actuators is 95%. Special application : Actuators are available for special applications like Explosion Hazardous area as per IS-2148-1968 and also for use of nuclear generating station for gas group IIA, IIB and HE.

BUTTERFLY DAMPER -

PREPEC has introduced unique of its kind Butterfly Damper. It is virtually leakproof and uses a Rotating Disc principle. This is a special kind of valves used for throttling control of air, gas, liquids 'steam and other type of fluids with suspended solids, where leakage is permissible to the extent of 0.002% to 3% of total flow. 'PREPEC' damper can absorb piping stresses and misalignments better and is comparatively lighter in weight and has better mechanical and structural properties.

FIRE DAMPER -

PREPEC Fire Damper have been designed and developed to operate in the hazardous application areas, which are vulnerable to fire outbreak. It has edge over the conventional Fire Damper, which do not close completely, endangering the environment. The flap of the Damper is generally kept open with the Torsion Arm connected to a fuselink. This fuselink melts when the air temperature exceeds the temperature rating. This breaks the supports between the Torsion Arm and the Flap and the spring contracts. The Damper can be reset by installing a new fuselink.

SINGLE FLAP / MULTI-LOUVRE DAMPER -

An ideally designed and developed custom built device for Heat ventilation and Air-conditioning Systems with proportional controls. These are perfectly suited for regulating the flow of air or gas in both moist and dry environmental conditions. The flap of the Damper, usually in a closeed situation, opens up as soon as the temperature rises above the stipulated rate. The fabrication is done to suit perfectly with the process requirement.

GUILLOTINE DAMPER -

A most efficient and reliable leakproof damper designed by 'PREPEC' used in flue and duct systems, where positive shut-off isolation is absolutely necessary. Also used for the purpose of gas cleaning and process equipment isolation in many industries. PREPEC make Guillotine Damper have a special pin-rack, screw nut and damper-drive system, so probability of blade-dropping and consequent danger is very low, have no seat cavity, thus no chances of entrapment of flux.

HOISTING EQUIPMENTS

LIFTING JACK -

PREPEC Lifting Jack are used to lift loads through a short distance. The modular system and its standardised components makes it most suitable for easy installation and maintenance. The self-sustained type of thread and locking system allows the load to be fixed as desired and holds it in its position without creep for indefinite period. PREPEC has to its distinction of producing various range of Jacks :

WINCHES -

A speciality device among the hoisting machinery used not only for lifting loads but also to haul & erect them. They are widely used in various erection and repair jobs as well as construction of lifts. PREPEC Winches are mainly classed according to :

GRABS -

When unit loads of given shape and size are handled considerable amount of time and labour can be reduced by employing 'PREPEC' Grabs suspended from the crane hook which grasp and release the load at almost no time. Varying in design with the shape and properties of load handled, out grabs are constructed to he reliable, compact, lightweight, convenient and safe.
