There are variety of activities through sports, clubs, music classes etc. We encourage our students to participate in various types of contests arranged by inter-school and other organizations.

The House system has been in existence to create a healthy competative spirit among pupils.

Admission :

For admission into Lower Nursery the pupil must have completed Three Years. The date of birth must be supported by a birth certificate from the Municipal Corporation / Corporation or equivalent body. Nursing Home Certificate are not accepted.

Applications for admission to class XI may be made after the ICSE / ISC exams are over Since ISC is a separate course. Admission to it is entirely at the discretion of the school authorities even for the students who have completed the ICSE (Class Xth) at Ratnakar North Point School. A new application is required for admission to this course.

Report & Promotions :

Promotions are based on the average work of the year, on steady progress, and on the annual examination.

Report cards must be collected by the parent/guardian of the student signed and returned to the class teacher within 2 days.

Students failing consecutively two years in the same class or for a third time in their school career will be given a compusory Transfer Certificate.

Curriculum :

The school prepares candidates for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination [Class X] and the Indian School Certificate Examination [Class XII]

(i) ICSE Section (Upto Class X)

The subjects for the Examination are English (1st Language), Hindi/Bengali (2nd Language), History/Geography, Mathematics, Science, Commercial Studies, Economics.

(ii) ISC (+2) Section:-

In Class XI & XII along with English Second Language (Hindi/Bengali) and E.Ed which are compulsory the following elective subjects are offered in two streams.

(a) SCIENCE STREAM-

English, Hindi/Bengali, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science.

(b) COMMERCE STREAM:-

English, Hindi/Bengali, Economics, Business Mathematics/ Business Studies, Principles of Accounts, Structures of Commerce, Computer Science.

(c) ARTS:-

English, Hindi / Bengali, Pol. Science, History, Sociology, Economics, Home Science.
