Gulistan Education Society was established in 2001 with its Registered Office at 25/1 Danish Molla Lane (Kazipara), Shibpur, Howrah 711 102. Registration No. S/1L/19343 of 2003-04. under Registration of Societies West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961. The aim and object of the Society is to bring about all round development and to promote education by establishing centre of studies.

The scope available to socially and economically backward class to afford the Secondary level Education of a high standard in English Medium appears far from satisfactory. Therefore as a humble beginning Gulistan Education Society took the responsibility of administering and running the Gulistan Model School. The Society vows to raise the Gulistan Model School to a much needed institution of high standard imparting modern, scientific education coupled with development of various ethical, intellectual and spiritual faculty.

Programme of School Infrastructure :

Gulistan Model School is running for last 6 years as an English Medium Institution. In these years the school has made phenominal progress. Demand for admission is ever on the rise. The existing 3-storeyed building is extremely inadequate. The school needs apart from the standard size classrooms; a conference room, laboratories, library and playground.

To meet the requirements .Gulistan Model School is preparing, to purchase 9K-13ch - 40 sq.ft of land just adjacent to school building (97/1, Mollapara Lane, Shibpur, Howrah 711 102. An advance payment of Rs……. has been executed. A full consideration amount of Rs.16.0 lacs needs to be raised from donation.
