WHAT
IS YOGA
Yoga is
one of the part of Philosophy. In ancient age the sages
of seven used to practise various types of yoga in their
daily life to keep their body fit, healthy and free from
diseases without having medicine. India is the motherland
of yoga which is now acknowledged all over the world.
We are having yoga from life (Mother's womb) to death.
In our every activities i. e. combing, toothing, bathing,
studying, cleaning etc which we are doing in daily life,
these are all inclusive of yoga. Because yoga has an authentic
role to build cultural life, disciplined life and systematic
life & to uplift the character of life of youth.
Jananyoga, Bhaktigoga, Karmayoga, Mantra Yoga, Hatha Yoga,
Raj yoga, Ghatayoga, Nayayoga etc. various types of yoga
are practised in India.
Generally we are doing asanas (Posture) & Pranayam
(Breathing) from Hatha Yoga & Dhyana (Meditation)
from Rajyoga: These are one of the steps of its. Yoga
has a role of trio concord of three remarkable features.
Yoga is a Philosophy i.e. an art, yoga is a play i.e.
a sports and yoga is medicine i.e. a science (Viz. Kala,
Krira & Vigyan). |
