How
to use Thermochalk :
Mark surface to be tested with appropriate Thermochalk . A dull
and chalky mark results . When the surface temperature attains similar
temperature as indicated on the wrapper of the Thermochalk the dull
and chalky mark immediately transforms into liquid droplets .
If the surface temperature is already
similar or higher to that of the Thermochalk in use , there will
be no dull and chalky mark --- only a line containing liquid droplets
will appear .
If the surface temperature is too
high in comparison to that indicated on the Thermochalk in use ,
the mark may immediately decompose leaving no way to draw any conclusion
.
It is recommended to use 3 ( three
) Thermochalk at a time , one below the temperature of the surface
to be measured , one close to the desired temperature and one above
than that .
Accuracy of Thermochalk :
+ / - 2% of their rating .
