APEX make Electrical Contact Pressure Guages serve for the measurement and control of pressure by switching ON and OFF electrical equipment.They thus eliminate the need for separate switches.

The adjustable contact arms can be set from outside individually by a knob at any required set point .The limit value switch is so designed that the instrument pointer can continue it’s movement beyond the set pointer, after the contact has been made or broken .


JUMO type electrical contacts ( also known as Snap Action Magnetic Contacts ) can be used upto 380V AC / DC and switching capacity upto 30 Watts / 50 VA .The current rating must be limited to 1 Ampere . The various types available are :

  • Single Electrical Contact : (i) 1 NO (ii) 1 NC
  • Double Electrical Contact : (i) 2NO (ii) 2 NC (iii) 1 NO + 1NC (iv) 1NC + 1NO .


DISC type electrical contacts can be used upto 220V AC / DC and switching capacity upto 5Watts / 10 VA
The current rating must be limited to 0.2 Ampere . The various types available are :

  • Single Electrical Contact : (i) 1 NO (ii) 1 NC
  • Double Electrical Contact : (i) 1 NO + 1 NC
