In
2005 he edited the complete short stories of the same author
and in 2006 he edited the collection of nonfiction writings
again of the same author Dipendranath, another not so hyped
but greatly talented son of Bengal.
Many more of his writing and edited works are there in the
pipeline.
Anischay received the SOPAN PURASKAR (Award) in
1998. And
then, the most coveted one "Bharatiya
Bhasha Parishad
Yuba Puraskar" in 2002, the moments of which he cherishes
, as he was and is the only recipient of that award since
its inception, in Bengali.
He also got the SAHITYA AKADEMI
TRAVEL GRANTS FOR YOUNG WRITERS.

Anischay
visited the Islands of Andaman just before Tsunami and had written a prose on
that in a Bengali Bimonthly Ekush Shatek. His father, Late
Manindra Nath Chakraborty, Was a member of Undivided Communist
Party of India till his death (28.02.1992).
One more project coming up on Andamans from him. Another one
from his experience of left ruler and politics in West Bengal
since 1960s.
