With an exceptional medley
of music and poetry which he often calls 'poetically
musical' Shri Biswanath Sinha sings modern Bengali songs
in self-composed tune and texture with a specific
emphasis on the serio-comic spirit under the garb of
melody and measure imbibed from traditional singing of
classical, folk and other existing forms of music heard
throughout the country.
Lulled by mother in early
childhood, he was later trained to trail the notes at
the hands of late Arunendu Goswami and others till Shri
Bechu Mukhopadhyay mastered him. Also patted to perform
by the late rebel of Rabindrasangeet Pijuskanti Sarkar,
Biswanath performed in ATN Bangla, Channel Vision and Bangla Ekhon.
Two cassettes had already been released to success. Biswanath
is singing throughout West Bengal and there is no doubt that
recognition
awaits him no farther.
