Juthika Dey is an accomplished recitor who presently attached with Akashvani - All India Radio, Kolkata as an announcer (freelance). She has been performing as an audio drama artist at All India Radio since 1984.
As a 5 years old little girl she staged her first performance by reciting Kazi Nazrul's famous poem 'Khuki Kathbirali' and won 1st prize there. Practically, she won many prizes in different recitation competitions in school and college level.

After her marriage, she got inspiration from her husband and continued her cultural activities at her husband's working place i.e. at Bilaspur, Madhyapradesh. She won many prizes in recitation and began her career as an actress by participating in various stage - plays such as "Araw Manush", "Rifle", "Shahjahan", etc. She won the award of "Best Actress" Twice - once in Bilaspur and the other in Nagpur by participating in "All India One -Act Drama Competitions" held in Bilaspur & Nagpur respectively. She acted at Kolkata also and for sometime she was associated with 'Gandhar' also.

But she won her laurels in audio - acting and took part in 30 radio - dramas at least with famous actors like Anil chatterjee, Dipankar Dey, Satya Bandyopadhayay, Bankim Ghosh, Kalipada Chakraborty, Deboraj Roy, Kanika Majumdar, Shukla Bandopadhyay, Sipra Mitra, etc.

She won 'Uttam Samiti Award', Saroj Debi Samiti Award,Robin Majumdar Award and Pranothesh Barna Smriti Smarak, etc. have a different cultural organizations.
But her heart's content is poetry and recitation. She opened an institution 'Shrutimadhu' at Konnagar, when she reminds to promote the art of audio - acting and recitation among the little girls & boys. She also released an unique recitation - cassette with the associative of singer Saibal Mitra, titled as "Tahader Katha" which was inaugurated by Late. V. Balsara in Sept'2004.Participated in Television Channel 'Alpha Bangla' in programme titled 'Sat Sakal' in 2005, interviewed by proclaimed anchor Smt. Rupa Bhattacharya.
