ABOUT PRADYOT ROY

Pradyot Roy is a remarkable personality on art and craft. He born at Kolkata, West Bengal, on 1st June, 1936 in a royal family. Famous Late Sushil Kumar Roy is his father & proud mother is Late Nirupama Roy. His son Sumit Roy and daughter Mili Roy and Ramala Roy. His wife Archana Roy (B.A., B. Ed.).

  • Founder Roopkala Institute of Art & Craft, Kolkata for Children.

  • Vice-President & Working Member of West Bengal Artists' Federation, Kolkata.

  • Received life time achievement award from All India Fine Arts & Craft Society, New Delhi in the year 1998. Handed over by Ex President of India Sankar Dayal Sharma.
