The RADIOLOGY department consists of 4 sections for diagnostic requirements. It has modern CT Scanner, Ultrasound equipment, Mammography for detection of  Breast Cancer and three X-Ray machines.

The most important diagnostic wing is the department of PATHOLOGY. Tests are essential to determine malignancy in a patient's tumour through Histopathology, Cytology and different tumour markers. We are preparing to start the Frozen section shortly.

Under supervision of Bhaba Atomic Research Centre of Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre of Calcutta has setup the REGIONAL RADIATION MEDICINE CENTRE at our institute for diagnosis with the help of Gamma Camera and Spect. This unit undertakes all kinds of Isotope Scans which help in cancer detection.

There  are  three OPERATION   THEATRES which have all kinds of modern equipments. The  Endoscopy and Bronchoscopy units attached  to the O.T. help the preliminary detection and minor operative procedures.

RADIOTHERAPY is the mainstay of cancer treatment. There are three Cobalt equipments which treat the patients with Radiation.

BRACHYTHERAPY is a sophisticated equipment aimed to destroy tumours with the help of Radioactive Isotopes.

CHEMOTHERAPY department is well equipped with experienced Oncologists. It provides treatment through use of all latest Protocols available.

INTENSIVE THERAPY UNIT has been started recently. It is equipped with all the latest treatment facilities.

LINEAR ACCELERATOR equipment has been acquired by the Institute. It treats with Radiation that eradicates tumours through Electrons and Photons with precision marker.
