Though
he is 100% vision impaired since birth but that could not dampen his fighting
spirit. He had shown great courage to complete his study.
He
had passed Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination in 1st
Division. Graduated from Calcutta University with Honours in Bengali. Passed M.
A. in Banglagaan from Rabindra Bharati University and obtained 1st
Class.
He
was awarded the title of “Sangeet Bhivakar” by Bangiya Sangeet Parishad. He
obtained 1st class in Classical Music.
Acquired
knowledge of Classical Music during childhood from his grandfather Late
Arunendra Nath Lahiri. Continuing learning of different class of Bengali Music
under the able guidance of Sri Nanda Dulal Bhaduri. He is also learning Puratani
Banglagaan and Bhaktigeeti under Sri Timir Ghosh and Dr. Papri Ghosh. At present
he is associated as Music Teacher at Voice of World (NGO)
