We Debrup & Rituparna are doing a new type of dance which is
presenting western but also very much Indian in mind and
expression too.
We
will be presented through Tagore’s song with the Batlief
& Marthagraham style of dance Rabindranath Tagore
wanted that his creation mush be used universally, but without
changing the inner meaning through Tagore, his writing
successfully entered in almost all spheres of human life and our
dance is not an exception to the contrary.
It
will make our dance more meaningful, expressive and vivid. We want
to create our Composition using Indian expression on a very high
foreign physical dance. Tagore’s song it self very expressive,
as we are using this on the Marthagraham and Batlief style, We
feel that automatically the inner meaning of Tagore’s song will
be expressed fully.
