In the country's mineral processing industry, Pauls Engineering Enterprise, 17/7/1 Narasingha Dutta Road, Howrah- 711101 , has been associated for the last two decades starting with the manufacturing of machinery and plant for briquetting of coal and coke fines for domestic and industrial uses. The range of equipment manufactured includes crushers, mixers, conveyors, kneaders, feeders, twin-roll briquetting presses & mechanical and static screens of various types and duties. The supply of equipment had been throughout the country.

Latter on Pauls Engineering Enterprise, entered the field of chrome ore and manganese ore fines briquetting. In order to tackle the problem of hard, abrasive and heavy mineral fines briquetting, R&D studies were pursued. The study has led to the development of Twin - Roll briquetting press having rolls constructed of abrasion resistant heat hardened special steel segments. The one roll is fixed while the other roll is fixed in position by the required hydraulic pressure exerted by the hydraulic rams placed at the two sides of the roll. Such briquetting machines of 10 tones per hour capacity are under successful operation in 15 plants totaling 60 numbers.

In connection with mineral briquetting, Paul Engineering Enterprise has endeavored to developed and produce the related equipment like thermal drier, multi muller mixer, mineral beneficiation plant etc.
