A
one man recital organized by “Manjushree” was held at Barasat Subhas
Institute. Sanjoy Ghosh, the recitor, had already initiated the heart of the
audience with the above poetry. Even the collection of Subho Dasgupta was also
put in style to the thrill of the packed viewers – Friday
Pratidin, 16 April 1999.
The
king of recitation Sri Sambhu Mitra earned high respect and honour with his
style of throwing out to the audience the poem “Madhubangshi Goli”, Whenever
Madhubangshi Goli is uttered Sambhu Mitra also appears. So when a function was
held in remembrance of Sambhu Mitra, “Madhubangshi Goli” was there and the
young recitor Sanjoy Ghosh took the task of paying tributes to both the poet and
king himself. Sanjoy – Tanya Debjani Ghosh convert it to a song. So
“Madhubangshi Goli” will remain unmortal. All credit goes to Sanjoy and his
daughter Debjani. – Sunday Pratidin, 10 May 1999
