Branch. Kolkata is rising in the field of medicine and
lots of newer developments are taking place almost daily to acheive
the goal of being at the top in the country with regards to "State
of the Art" medical facilities. The days are not far away
wKen the patients from West Bengal will stop looking anywhere
else for best of Medical facilities.
But many private practitioners in
our state or even in Kolkata are not aware about modern and advanced
facilities and treatment modalities available in the city. Keeping
this in mind, IMA Calcutta branch has named its Annual Conference
as "CALCUTTA MEDICAL CONFERENCE" with
the aim to invite all the Medical Institutions in the city to
present before the private practitioners of the city and the state
the facilities available at their centres.

Calcutta Branch is going to observe 'Doctors' Day on the auspicious
birth day of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Sunday. 1st July '07 at Rotary
Sadan, 94/2, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Kolkata-700020.
IMA Calcutta Health Fair' 2007 will
be the most attractive event of the day.
This Health Fair will include Health
Check up (ECG, Blood Sugar, Blood Grouping, Echocardiography,
Utrasonograpfiy, Thalassemia, Bone density, Eye check up) and
mega blood donation camp, exclusively for the doctors and their
families along with a day long scientific discussion relevant
to current medicare scenario.
More than 1000 doctors from different
corners of Kolkata and surroundings will grace the occasion.
