About MAKHLA SHINJINI

“MAKHLA SHINJINI”, centre for promoting Indian Art & Culture, specially engaged in teaching Dance (Specially Kathak) in the Suburban Town Makhla, Uttarpara, Hooghly and its milestone started in the year 1985 and get registered with Government of West Bengal and also affiliated with Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh as Examination Centre.

Under Keya Chanda’s able guidance every year the students of “MAKHLA SHINJINI” take part in the concert in and around Kolkata and even outside the state.

“MAKHLA SHINJINI” is involved in doing different activities like “GURU-SHISHYA-PARAMPARA”, lecture demonstration, dance workshops etc.

"Makhla Shinjini's Dance Troupe" has already appeared on the Television.

“MAKHLA SHINJINI” is receiving financial grant every year from Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi for the improvement of School.

“MAKHLA SHINJINI” is going to be empanelled with I.C.C.R. New Delhi and registered with E.Z.C.C. Kolkata.
