A student of class 2 and started her dance career as Kathak Dancer when she was only two and half years old under the skilled guidance of her mother famous Kathak Danseuse Smt. Keya Chanda. She took part in Television several times both in solo and in the choreography. She had also attended in the solo dance programmes at various places viz. Burdwan, Arambagh, Kolkata, Pondicherry and other places.

She has also participated in various dance choreography of Smt. Keya Chanda, which includes choreography based on the theme “BRIKSHOROPON” titled “AHUTI” and one based on the patriotic song “VANDEMATRAM”, Kathak dance production "MUKTI", based on a poem "Shhadh" written by Guru Rabindranath Tagore.

She also took part in a dance drama titled “JIWANJANTRANATE DRUG” and acclaimed appreciation from his excellency Sri Biren J. Shah (Governor of West Bengal) guest in chief of that programme and also get appreciation from national dailies.

Already posses “Best Performance Award” three times consecutively from her dance school "Makhla Shinjini", Uttarpara, Hooghly. She also took part in dance programme “Guru - Shishya - Parampara” – organised by Makhla Shinjini at Ganabhawan, Uttarpara, Hooghly.

She took part in a programme titled “NRITYANWESHAN” at Ganabhwan and get appreciation from audience and local newspaper. She also joined in Workshop under Pandit Birju Maharaj during seven days, which was held at Kolkata. She has passed in preliminary part II in Kathak Dance in First Division with distinction from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh
