Being a Cost Accountant in his occupation he is very much efficient in acting in the drama. He participated in many dramas in the various parts of the country since his childhood. Prominent dramas done – “Ashroy”, “Meghe Dhaka Tara”, “Mukut”, “Dhakghar” and others. 

He is also accomplished player of “BOL PARHANT” (Recitation of Dance Boals) and KABIT (Poem) with Kathak Dancer and participated in the various in eleven programmes and Festivals viz. India International Centre – New Delhi, India International Trade Fair – New Delhi, Nrityotsav – Bhubneshwar, Arambagh; Kolkata; Burdwan; Pondicherry and many other places. He has performed in South Korea & Vietnam as a manjira player & accomplished anchor.

He also took part in the dance drama of a Govt. approved production “JIWANJANTRANATE DRUG” – a social awareness programme and Dance Dramas like “BIRPURUSH”, “AHUTI” & Humane Draupadi. He is a good player of NAGMA through Harmonium with the Kathak Dancer. He took part in many programmes as a Nagma player with Kathak dancer. He also had a special aptitude in playing tabla lessons from his Guru. He is also efficient in anchoring any cultural programme.

At present he is holding the position of Secretary of "Makhla Shinjini", a reputed Dance and Music School since last ten years. Under his Secretaryship this school get various production grants from the Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi. He himself organised various dance and music programmes in the banner of "Makhla Shinjini". He is accompanying Tabla, Harmonium in the Kathak dance class.
