Some
excerpts of Press Clippings:
Rooted
in tradition – …. Thanks to Indrani Banerjee for conceiving the
evening with such a meaningful variety of Tagore songs and dances. – The
Statesman Friday 12 January 2001
Timeless
melody – …. Indrani is not the run-of-the-mill singer. This holds
good for her small number of students too. This publicity-shy singer, till date,
does not have a single cassette exclusively by her. But in this world of
competition and publicity where does she have a chance to stand out and reach
out to public? Isn’t she missing out on something as important as “A NAME”
in the field of Rabindra Sangeet. “No,” she said. In rendition lies the
success of an artiste. And it is this which makes her successful. – The
Economic Times Sunday 26 December 1999
