Background
We started in a modest way
in the year 1939, as a supplier to the defence ministry and
military during the World War II. Soon after the war was over,
we concentrated on manufacturing of Pipe-Fittings and were pioneer
in manufacturing a few items like Jamnuts, Flanges etc. for
the first time in the country in those days. We were highly
recognised for our prompt delivery soon by TISCO, to whom we
supply materials since last 64 years. We were among the foremost
suppliers to them in their first modernisation by Kaisers Overseas
in 1954-1958 period. At the same time the company entered into
an import business of Pipe Fittings and imported regularly from
the countries like Japan, China, U.K. etc. While celebrating its Diamond Jubilee
in 1999, company shifted its office to a more spacious place
at the above address at Century Plaza.
At Present
Gradually the company switched over its activity and remained
as foremost stockist, wholesalers and retailers in the Calcutta
market. Company's present turnover is more than Rupees 6O million.
Range of supply is Steel Tubes, both Welded and Seamless, Tube
Fittings, Valve, Cocks, etc. We also supply C.I. & PVC Pipes
and Fittings. Fabrication work is also undertaken. We are regular
suppliers to companies like TISCO, Paharpur Cooling Towers,
JK Paper, TELCO, TRL, Voltas Ltd., etc. In the year 03-04 we
were the highest lifter of Steel Tubes among all the retailers
of the city (only JINDAL brand).
